Initially forged in Europe's rave explosion, Star Seeds Report is the new project of a Dutch artist and producer whose musical vision has been a lifetime in the making. A veteran of the early 90s Netherlands rave scene, he first experienced the culture not from behind the decks but behind the lights and soundboards, working as a professional engineer in theatres across Europe while spending his free hours at underground raves and large-scale events like Thunderdome and Sensation Black & White.
Those nights, where names such as Dark Raver and Pagan commanded the crowd, left a lasting impression on his musical outlook. Although he initially dabbled with DJing, it was the Goa Trance scene that truly captured his heart as well as encouraged his first attempt at dancing, something he'd never felt compelled to do before, during The Infinity Project's Feeling Very Weird, an experience that would spark a lifelong devotion to trance and house music. Life eventually pulled him in other directions, with family and work taking precedence, but the dream of making his own music never faded.
Years later, after raising his daughter and finding stability, he finally built his own home studio, rekindling the ambition to create the sounds that had once fuelled those euphoric nights. Recognising that passion alone wasn't enough, he immersed himself in learning the modern skills of production and by April last year, he was ready to share his sound with the world. His debut came with "Alpha B Centauri," a track that he followed it with "Floating Adaggio," where his classical piano training and years of playing bass in a pop punk band seeped into his electronic sound.
Over the past year, his catalogue has rapidly grown, often leaning into more mellow electronic textures while still tethered to trance's hypnotic aesthetic. Now, Star Seeds Report unveils his latest work with the brand new single titled "Psy-Go!," an uptempo psytrance cut that sees him push harder and faster than ever before. Set up by the airy swell of stuttered textures, the zap of synth rings around the mix as the anticipated gradually builds up.

Stepping beyond comfort boundaries proved difficult for most artists yet Star Seeds Report used this opportunity to develop their artistic expression. As a melodic techno and progressive house artist the musician transformed his sound with Nouadhibou while producing a track which brings feelings of nostalgia and adventure alongside warmth.
After experiencing six months of travel from Amsterdam to Cameroon he gave the song its name after the Mauritanian city Nouadhibou that became a permanent part of his memory. The artist rediscovered nostalgia through browsing his travel photos that inspired him to develop his music with a combination of resonant melodies and rhythmic vitality and vocal selections which represented the essence of this destination. The song integrates his electronic components but delves into a natural and bright musical direction.

Star Seeds Report - The Lights [Melodic Techno]
Last year I discovered the work of Dutch musician Star Seeds Report, who worked as a light and sound engineer at such cult rave series as ID&T "Thunderdome" and "Sensation Black and White", and, of course, I am happy with his new release – the single "The Lights".
The artist, who favours melodic forms of techno, is known for his brilliant work with old-school trance sounds, and this track is thankfully no exception. A bouncy bassline, bouncy, energetic beats in the vein of music from the Need for Speed cassette compilations (remember those?) and a ton of acidic sounds that make it hard to believe that the track was released this year.
A great stylization of early 2000s trance and the energy of a real rave!

"Trance Delhi Express" es una canción del género, Melodic techo, que posee los sonidos fundamentales y que caracterizan al techno, envueltos en una melodía más sutil; en esta canción encontramos ritmos árabes, que nos llevan a esas tierras lejanas, imaginándonos a bailarinas de Belly dance, moviéndose al ritmo de esta canción.
También puede transportarte a los mantras, el sonido de la voz, es muy parecido, el ritmo está muy pegajoso, puede hacerte bailar, o simplemente es de esas canciones, que te gusta poner atención y escuchar detenidamente, para disfrutar todos los arreglos de sonidos, que dan una sensación de profundidad y movimiento en la canción

Star Seeds Report – Alpha B. Centauri / Floating Adaggio [Melodic Techno]
Melodic techno has been rapidly gaining popularity lately, and among the new names on this scene, it is worth mentioning the interesting Dutch musician Star Seeds Report. The artist began his club career as a light and sound engineer at many small underground raves, and witnessed the birth of the Dutch house scene in the early 90s, and worked at such cult raves as ID&T "Thunderdome" and "Sensation Black and White".
At the same time, he became interested in goa trance music and production, and now, having finished making his own home studio, he has seriously taken up his own music.
It's nice that the artist has taken up melodic electronics and this weekend a couple of his tracks have been firmly established in my playlist. The first is the cosmic "Alpha B. Centauri" with old-school trance vibes and an interesting combination of atmospheric pads and strange sounds with live keyboards and carefully crafted percussion.
Well, on the second track "Floating Adaggio", which also gravitates towards a vintage trance sound, the artist enters the territory of classical music with complex melodies and hypnotic grooves, and I really like the way he works with the multi-layered sound of synthesizers.
A very beautiful and pleasant little thing for a weekend evening.
